Security forces arrest Kurdish men Zana Mansouri and Mohammad Salehi

Iranian security forces have arrested Zana Mansouri, a former detainee of the Woman, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) uprising in Sanandaj (Sine), and Mohammad Salehi, a resident of Divandarreh.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, Mansouri was arrested at his family home in Sanandaj.
He had previously been detained during the 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom protests.

One day earlier, on Wednesday, September 17, security forces arrested Salehi at his shop in Divandarreh, in connection with his participation in the merchants’ strike marking the third anniversary of the state killing of Jina Amini.
