Baloch prisoner Mohammad Reza Shiheki executed in Iranshahr

The execution of Mohammad Reza Shiheki, a 25-year-old Baloch prisoner convicted of “premeditated murder,” was carried out in Iranshahr Central Prison. He was 19 years old at the time of the alleged crime.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shiheki, a resident of Masjed Abolfazl village in the Bazman district of Iranshahr County, was executed at dawn on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Shiheki was arrested six years ago, at the age of 19, following a family dispute in which he was accused of “premeditated murder.” He was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Baloch news outlet Haalvsh, which reports on developments in Balochistan, also confirmed the execution.
The case has not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
