Hengaw – Friday, October 17, 2025
The death sentences of four prisoners — including a Baloch and an Arab — have been carried out in the prisons of Arak, Ahvaz, and Semnan. The executed prisoners were identified as Mohammad Rafiq Gallehbacheh, Masoud Nemati, Mohammad Naeimi, and Behzad Alizadeh, all of whom had previously been sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Mohammad Rafiq Gallehbacheh, a Baloch man from Zahedan and father of two, and Masoud Nemati, from Arak, were executed in Arak Central Prison. Their executions were carried out in secret, without the right to a final family visit. Both men had been arrested three years ago in separate cases on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
On the same day, the death sentence of Mohammad Naeimi, an Arab prisoner convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz.
Separately, at dawn on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Behzad Alizadeh, another prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, was executed in Semnan Central Prison.
None of these executions have been reported by Iranian state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
