Husband kills 24-year-old woman in a femicide case in Isfahan

A young woman, Shabnam Ahmadi, was killed by her husband in Isfahan with a bladed weapon in what has been described as an “honor”-related attack.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ahmadi, 24, was stabbed to death on Friday, November 28, 2025, by her husband, Ali Kazemi, who inflicted multiple knife wounds during the assault.

According to an informed source, Kazemi killed his wife over what was described as “honor-related issues”, repeatedly stabbing her and causing fatal injuries.

The couple had been married for approximately two years.
