Two Turkish prisoners, including a woman, executed in Tabriz Central Prison

Two Turkish prisoners, a woman named Zahra Mirghafari and a man named Omid Feyzi, were executed in Tabriz Central Prison after being sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mirghafari, aged 43 and from Hashtrud, and Feyzi, aged 28 and from Tabriz, were executed at dawn on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Tabriz Central Prison.

Sources informed Hengaw that Mirghafari had been arrested five years ago and Feyzi three years ago, both on charges related to drug offences. They were later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The executions of these two prisoners have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
