Baha’i adherent Shahram Tahzib arrested in Gonbad-e Kavus

Agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence have arrested Shahram Tahzib, a Baha’i adherent living in Gonbad-e Kavus in Golestan Province.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Tahzib was detained in Gonbad-e Kavus on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

A source familiar with the case reported that the arrest took place at Tahzib’s home, where Ministry of Intelligence agents also confiscated his books and searched the residence.

No information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against him.
