The identities of three individuals who were killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces during the recent protests in Isfahan have been verified after one week. The victims are Farzin Poostashkan Dorki, Sina Saranoush and Pedram Saeedi.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Pedram Saeedi, a 28-year-old resident of Isfahan, was shot in the chest by Iranian authorities during protests in the “Khaneh Isfahan” district and died at the scene on January 9, 2026.

Sina Saranoush was also killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces during the same protests.

A well-informed individual told Hengaw that security agencies prevented Sina’s family from holding a funeral and forced them to bury his body outside the city of Isfahan.

On the same day, Farzin Poostashkan Dorki, a 25-year-old hairdresser from the village of Dork-e Shahpouri in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province who was living in Isfahan, was likewise shot and killed by Iranian government forces during the protests.
