Three more, including a woman, killed during protests in Kermanshah and Badreh

Three more Kurdish individuals, including one woman, have been killed during protests in the cities of Kermanshah and Badreh in Ilam Province after being shot by Iranian government forces.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights and verified by its Documentation and Statistics Center, the identities of the three victims, one woman and two men, have been confirmed as Mohanna Dokushkani, Armin Dadfar, and Omid Shojaeian.

Mohanna Dokushkani, an 18-year-old from Kermanshah, was killed on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, during protests in the city. Hengaw sources report that she was shot with live ammunition in the Saadi neighborhood. 

Her body was buried on Friday, January 16, at Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah under heavy security, with only a small number of close relatives allowed to attend.

On the same day, Armin Dadfar, a 21-year-old Kurdish man from the village of Sartang in Badreh County, Ilam Province, was killed during protests in Badreh after being struck by live ammunition fired by Iranian authorities.

Omid Shojaeian, a young man from Kermanshah, was killed on Friday, January 9, 2026, during protests in the city. According to Hengaw sources, he was shot with military-grade ammunition in the Maskan neighborhood of Kermanshah, directly in front of his shop.
