Four Kurdish nurses arrested for treating victims of government crackdown in Dehloran

Four Kurdish nurses at Dehloran Hospital in Ilam Province have been arrested by Iranian authorities over what officials described as “providing medical treatment to individuals injured by government forces.”
The nurses have been identified as Ahmad Khosravi, Mohammad Moradi Taregh, Ehsan Ahmadi, and Hossein Karami.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, all four nurses—residents of Dehloran—were taken into custody on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Informed sources told Hengaw that agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence raided the nurses’ workplace, arrested them using force, and transferred them to an undisclosed location.
