Four women arrested in Tehran and Divandarreh

At least four women have been arrested by Iranian government forces in Tehran and Divandarreh.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the detainees include a Kurdish relative of a victim of the recent protests. Their identities are as follows:
Tehran
Shavar Karimzadeh, a theater and cinema actress, was arrested on Friday, January 9, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Farzaneh Fasihi, a physician residing in Tehran, was arrested on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, during a memorial ceremony marking the 40th day of victims killed in the recent protests at Behesht Zahra cemetery.
Saba Ahmadi was arrested in the early hours of Saturday, February 14, 2026, following a raid by government forces on her home. She was transferred to Evin Prison. Ahmadi owns a fashion boutique and had previously been summoned by authorities, and her social media account had been blocked in connection with her business-related online activities.
Divandarreh
Fariba Ghahremani, a Kurdish woman from Divandarreh, was arrested on Thursday, February 9, 2026, by the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). She is the aunt of Arslan Ghahremani, who was killed during the December protests in Tehran.
