Four Kurds arrested in Tehran, Darreh Shahr, and Divandarreh

Four Kurdish men have been arrested by Iranian government forces in the cities of Darreh Shahr, Divandarreh, and Tehran, according to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
The four individuals were detained in separate incidents and transferred to undisclosed locations. No official information has been released regarding the charges against them.
Their identities and details of their arrests are as follows:
Darreh Shahr
Mohammadmehdi Pirdeh, 18, was arrested on February 20, 2026, by government forces and transferred to an unknown location. No further details have been made available regarding his situation.
Tehran
Mojtaba Hajian, originally from Abdanan, was arrested on December 27, 2025, by government forces. Nearly two months after his arrest, no information has been released regarding his legal status or place of detention.
Ahmad Tamouei, a former political prisoner and Kurdish political activist from Salmas currently residing in Tehran, was arrested in the early hours of February 23, 2026. According to sources, government forces used physical violence during the arrest.
Tamouei was released in 2021 after serving 14 years in Urmia Central Prison. Following his release, he had been working as a taxi driver in Tehran.
Divandarreh
Zanyar Abbasi was arrested on February 24, 2026, during a raid by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence on his home in Divandarreh. He was transferred to an undisclosed location.
No official explanation has been provided regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges filed, or the conditions of detention of these four Kurdish men.
