Farshad Mahdavi and Nader Rabeh arrested by Iranian forces in Malekshahi

Two Kurdish residents of Malekshahi County in Ilam Province — Farshad Mahdavi and Nader Rabeh — have been arrested by Iranian government forces and transferred to undisclosed locations.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Farshad Mahdavi, 25, was arrested on February 24, 2026, in Malekshahi by government forces. No information has been released regarding his place of detention.

In a separate incident, Nader Rabeh, 54, was arrested one day earlier, on February 23, 2026. Sources report that he was wounded in the thigh at the time of his arrest, raising concerns about his physical condition and access to medical care.
