Four Kurds held incommunicado after arrests in three cities

Iranian government forces have arrested four Kurdish men in Sanandaj (Sine), Ilam, and Bojnord and are holding them incommunicado, according to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

Soroush Dabirmanesh, a Kurdish resident of Bojnord, was arrested on February 7, 2026, and taken to an undisclosed location. Officials have not revealed where he is being held or provided any information about his condition.

In Sanandaj, intelligence agents abducted Farhad Vaziri, a shopkeeper at the city’s Ashna Commercial Passage, several days ago. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Reza Parak, from Malekshahi, was arrested by government forces in Ilam on Friday, January 23, 2026. Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding his whereabouts or legal status.

Mostafa Kamarkhani, also from Ilam, has been in detention since January 11, 2026. Despite suffering severe eye injuries as a result of torture and reportedly being promised release after one month, he continues to be held in Ilam Prison.
