At least seven Kurds detained as wave of arrests continues in Iran

Iranian government forces have detained at least seven Kurds in the cities of Miandoab, Abdanan, and Bukan as the wave of arrests continues, Hengaw Organization for Human Rights has learned.
Ali Nazarzadeh, 26, from Abdanan and a resident of the Hezarani district, was detained by IRGC intelligence forces on the evening of Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Hassan Chamani (Masoud) and Hazhar Rahimi, both from Bukan, were detained by government forces in the city. Chamani was taken into custody at approximately 11:00 p.m. after government forces raided his home and subjected him to severe violence and beating.
Naser Yadyar, 38, Mousa Yadyar, 26, and Hamzeh Yadyar, 25, three brothers from Bukan, were detained later the same night and transferred to undisclosed locations. An informed source stated that Mousa and Hamzeh were detained in the village of Qarmosali in Bukan, while Naser was detained in the village of Dashband, without warrants.
Their brother, Rasoul Yadyar, had previously been detained on the evening of December 16, 2025, by intelligence forces without a warrant and transferred to one of the Intelligence Department detention facilities in Urmia.
Jamal Abdollahi, 41, married and father of two from the village of Gugjalu in Miandoab, was detained at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, following a raid on his home.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for the detentions, the detainees’ places of detention, or any charges against them.
