Baha’i men Pouyan Gholami and Pedram Ahmadi detained in Iran

Iranian government forces have detained Baha’i men Pouyan Gholami and Pedram Ahmadi in the cities of Kerman and Shahr-e Kord, Hengaw Organization for Human Rights has learned.

Pouyan Gholami, from Kerman, was detained at his workplace on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Government forces later searched his home and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

Pedram Ahmadi, from Shahr-e Kord, was detained on Monday, February 9, 2026, during a violent raid on the family home of his father, Tahmoures Ahmadi. He was present at the time of the search and was detained without a warrant before being taken to an undisclosed location.

During the raid, agents reportedly entered the house by climbing over a wall and breaking down the front door. After conducting a full search of the property, they confiscated a significant amount of personal belongings, including gold and silver items, books, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.

Government agents also searched Pedram Ahmadi’s personal residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and seized additional belongings.

Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for the detentions, the detainees’ places of detention, or any charges against them.
