Eight Kurds detained and held incommunicado in Ilam Province

Eight Kurds have been arrested by Iranian government forces in the cities of Lumar, Badreh, Malekshahi, and Asemanabad in Ilam Province. No information has been made available regarding their fate.
Asemanabad
Younes Naseri was arrested on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Yousef Azadkhani was detained on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Nabi Zamani was arrested on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Malekshahi
Dr. Reza Khasi was arrested on Saturday, February 7, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Badreh
Ali Hatami, 34, was arrested on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Hassan Mohammadi was detained on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Abdolsaheb Jafarzadeh was arrested on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Lumar
Khalil Esmaeili was detained on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
All eight detainees have been denied contact with their families and relatives, as well as access to legal counsel. Authorities have not disclosed their current whereabouts, legal status, or any charges against them.
