Kamiab Karimi, a Kurdish resident of Marivan, has been in detention by Iranian government forces since early January, and no reliable information has been released regarding his fate or legal status.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Kamiab Karimi, 19, has spent the past 54 days in detention without access to basic rights or family contact.
Informed sources state that during this period he has been denied visitation and other fundamental legal rights, raising serious concerns about the risk of coercion and forced confessions.

He was later transferred on February 7, 2026, to the Intelligence Department detention facility in Sanandaj. No official information has been provided regarding the charges against him or the conditions of his detention.
