Iranian forces violently arrest three Kurdish men in Ilam

Younes Bakri, Rouhollah Gholami, and Yaser Havasizadeh, three Kurdish men from Asmanabad, Ilam Province, have been violently arrested by Iranian forces and transferred to undisclosed locations.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, plainclothes forces in eight vehicles surrounded the Pirhamzeh area on the evening of Monday, August 24, 2026, and arrested Havasizadeh inside his vehicle, physically assaulting him during the arrest.
Gholami was arrested a day earlier, on Sunday evening, August 23, when Iranian forces raided the shop where he worked. They used severe violence and did not present a warrant.
Meanwhile, Iranian forces arrested Bakri, also from Asmanabad, in Sarableh, Ilam Province, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
The families’ efforts to obtain information about the three men have been unsuccessful. Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for their arrests, the charges against them, their places of detention, or their current status.
