Iranian forces detain four Kurds in separate cities

Iranian government forces have detained four Kurdish individuals in Tehran, Abdanan (Awdanan), Eslamabad-e Gharb (Shabad), and Urmia in recent weeks.
According to reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrests took place between January 7 and February 16, 2026. The details of the cases are as follows:
Tehran
Koushar Hazrati, originally from Qorveh and residing in Tehran, was arrested in the early hours of Monday, February 16, 2026, after security forces raided his home on Sattarkhan Street. He was transferred to an undisclosed location.
Abdanan
Amin Farajollahi, a resident of Abdanan in Ilam Province, was arrested in the city on Monday, February 16, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Eslamabad-e Gharb
Erfan Khosrowabadi, a resident of Eslamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah (Kermashan) Province, was arrested on Sunday, February 15, 2026, on the road between Eslamabad-e Gharb and Kermanshah. Security forces reportedly used violence during the arrest and did not present a warrant. He was transferred to an undisclosed location.
Urmia
Alireza Abdollahi, a resident of Urmia, was arrested on Thursday, January 8, 2026, during protests in the Golshahr neighborhood by agents of the Intelligence Department and transferred to an undisclosed location. No information has since been made available regarding his fate.
Authorities have not disclosed the charges against these four individuals or their current whereabouts and legal status.
