Baha’i adherent Borna Naeimi arrested in Kerman, whereabouts unknown

Borna Naeimi, a Baha’i adherent residing in Kerman, has been arrested by Iranian government forces in the city, and nine days after his detention no information is available about his fate or whereabouts.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Naeimi, 29, a father of one child and a resident of Kerman, was arrested with the use of violence at his home by government forces on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Nine days after his arrest, there is still no precise information regarding his condition or place of detention, and the family’s attempts to obtain information about his situation have so far been unsuccessful.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest or any charges against him.
