Hengaw – Sunday, March 22, 2026

Several months after the arrest of four brothers from Bukan by institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they remain in a state of legal limbo, according to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

Rasoul Yadiar, Nasser Yadiar (38), Mousa Yadiar (26), and Hamzeh Yadiar (25) continue to be denied release despite the expiration of their temporary detention order on March 5, 2026. Their continued detention is due to interference by Ali Zahed, the prosecutor of Bukan.

Informed sources state that although the investigation phase has been completed and the detention order has formally expired, the prosecutor has refused to issue a release order, leaving the four brothers in prolonged uncertainty.

All four men are heads of their households and have been subjected to sustained pressure by state authorities. Their personal vehicles have also been confiscated by government forces, and efforts by their families to recover their property or obtain clarity regarding their children’s situation have so far yielded no results.

Nasser, Mousa, and Hamzeh Yadiar were violently arrested on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, by government forces. Mousa and Hamzeh were detained in the village of Qarmosali, while Nasser was arrested in the village of Dashband, both in Bukan, without the presentation of any warrant.

Rasoul Yadiar, another brother, had previously been arrested on the evening of Tuesday, December 16, 2025, by agents of the Intelligence Office and transferred to one of the agency’s detention facilities in Urmia.
