Iranian forces violently arrest Mani Abdollahzadeh in Piranshahr

Iranian security forces raided the village of Darbakeh, in Piranshahr, and violently arrested a young man, Mani Abdollahzadeh, before transferring him to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the forces stormed his family home without presenting a warrant and detained him using violence.

Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest, any charges against him, or his place of detention. Meanwhile, efforts by Abdollahzadeh’s family to obtain information about his fate have so far been unsuccessful.
