Kurdish man Abdollah Nabizadeh violently arrested in Piranshahr

Iranian government forces have violently arrested a Kurdish man, Abdollah Nabizadeh, during a raid on his home in Piranshahr.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, security forces raided Nabizadeh’s home in the village of Chiane, in Piranshahr county, at around 5 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 without presenting any warrant.

Sources reported that he was arrested in a violent manner and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.

No information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his place of detention.

Efforts by his family to obtain information about his fate and condition have so far been unsuccessful.
