Arab civil activist Nabil Khaledi arrested by intelligence forces

Nabil Khaledi, an Arab civil activist from Kut Abdollah, Ahvaz, was arrested by intelligence forces after being summoned to the Intelligence Office in Asaluyeh, Bushehr Province, and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the 40-year-old activist, who resides in Ahvaz, was arrested on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, after appearing at the Intelligence Office in Asaluyeh in response to an official summons.

Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest. His current whereabouts, legal status, and any charges against him remain unknown.
