Baloch and Turkmen prisoners among four executed in Iran

At least four prisoners, including two Baloch and one Turkmen, were executed in the prisons of Rudan in Hormozgan Province, Zahedan, Bojnourd, and Semnan on charges related to drug offenses, “premeditated murder,” and rape. One of the executions was carried out in secret, without the prisoner being granted a final visit with his family.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentence of Ali Bakhsh Raeisi, a Baloch prisoner, was carried out secretly in Rudan Prison, Hormozgan Province, in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Raeisi was approximately 27 years old, married, and the father of one child. A native of Delgan County, he was arrested in Rudan in 2024 on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the city's Revolutionary Court.
The same day, another Baloch prisoner, Hassan Hosseini Narouei, 58, from Zahedan, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison. He had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
Meanwhile, Hamed Heidarzadeh, 26, was executed in Semnan Central Prison in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
A resident of Semnan, Heidarzadeh worked at a cotton factory before his arrest. He was detained in August 2023 following a dispute over financial disagreements and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Semnan Provincial Criminal Court on charges of “premeditated murder.”
The execution of Bahaeddin Vahidi, a Turkmen prisoner, was also carried out in Bojnourd Central Prison on June 10. He had been arrested six years earlier on charges of raping a woman, murdering her, and burning her body, and was later sentenced to death.
The executions of these four prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media or official outlets affiliated with the Iranian Judiciary.
