IRGC Intelligence forces arrest Ali Rasoulnejad in Mahabad

Ali Rasoulnejad, a 32-year-old Kurdish man from Mahabad, has been arrested by forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, IRGC Intelligence forces raided Rasoulnejad’s workplace in Mahabad on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and arrested him without presenting a warrant.
Sources told Hengaw that Rasoulnejad was detained at his privately owned shop and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
Authorities have not disclosed the reason for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current whereabouts. His family’s efforts to obtain information about his situation have so far yielded no results.
