A Kurdish poet and author from Khorasan was sentenced to 74 lashes

Hengaw: "Ali Reza Sepahi Layin" a Kurdish poet, author, and journalist from Qouchan was sentenced to 74 lashes.

According to the reports recieved by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the past days in a criminal court of Kalat Naderi in Khorasan Razavi, "Ali Reza Sepahi Layin" accused to disrespecting to authorities was sentenced to 74 lashes.

"Ali Reza Sepahi Layin" charged to propaganda and disturbing public, after publishing a writing about "Not Knowing, Stronger than Flood" was arresten on November 30th 2017, and he was released from jails by commitment on December 10th 2017.

Besides this, he had been arrested twice from security centers accused to connecting to Iran oppositions and Kurdish parties and was sentenced to jail.

This Kurdish author has published more than 10 books in Kurdish and Persian.
