Nagin Mahmoudi, who is also the mother of a 7-month-old child, was held hostage by Iranian security authorities in Paveh city in Kermanshah province and relocated to Kermanshah as a result of her husband's activities.

Negin Mahmoodi was summoned before Paveh Court without a warrant at midday on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, and was then taken to Kermanshah Correctional Center, according to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

According to a reliable source who spoke to Hengaw, Kahraman Karimi, one of the fundamental attorneys in the legal system, is the reason that Negin Mahmoudi, Karimi's wife, was held captive by the authorities. The security institutions want Karimi to turn himself in.

It should be emphasized that Kahraman Karimi is one of the attorneys who has recently defended numerous political prisoners in different cities throughout Kurdistan.

A 7-month-old child born to Nagin Mahmoudi and Kahraman Karimi is currently without the parents.
