A Kurdish citizen was sentenced to five years imprisonment

Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen was sentences to five years imprisonment by a court in Urmia, the capital of the Urmia province.

Bashir Pirmawana was sentenced to five years of imprisonment in charge of “making attempt against the country’s security by membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties” by the Revolutionary Court of Urmia.

 Bashir Pirmawana is residence of one of the Urmia’s village and is prisoned in the section 13 of the Central Prison of Urmia which is allocated to the normal prisoners.

Bashir was arrested by the Urmia security forces on March 4, 2017 and has been detained in the Intelligence organization and Dariya jail of Urmia until now.
