A Kurdish writer was Summoned by Iranian Intelligence Service

Hemgaw: The Iranian Intelligence Service in Mashhad summoned a Kurdish writer and university lecturer Yahia Alawi Fard and interrogated him.
“This Kurdish writer was summoned and interrogated following the protests of Kurdish writers and cultural activities in Khorasan against preventing the publication of a Kurdish book specialized for children and written in Latin alphabet”, a reliable source told Hengaw.
After turning aside the book and being confronted with the protests, the Iranian Intelligence Service of Mashhad stated: “the Kurdish Latin alphabet is used by the “anti-revolution groups”, therefore the book was against the Iran’s interests”.
Yahia Alawi Fard who was born in 1973 in Bojnoord is a university lecturer of Ghom Universiry in Persian Language and Literature.
As the manager of ”Amo Alawi” Publication, he has published a few books about children in different languages like Kurdish, Persian, English, Arabic.
