Two kolbars shot and wounded by Iranian forces near Baneh and Marivan

Two Kurdish kolbars, Mohammad Naderi and Ako Salehi, were wounded in separate incidents after Iranian border forces and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) troops opened fire on them in the border areas of Marivan and Baneh.
Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammad Naderi, a Kurdish kolbar from the village of Sardoush in Marivan County, was shot and wounded by Iranian forces in the Doleh Bid border area of Marivan on June 17, 2026.
Informed sources stated that Naderi sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and was discharged from hospital after one day of treatment.
In a separate incident, Ako Salehi, a Kurdish kolbar from Baneh, was wounded after Iranian forces opened fire on him in the Seyranband border area on the evening of June 16, 2026.
Salehi, who is married and the father of two children, sustained a gunshot wound to his hand and was transferred to a medical center in Tabriz for treatment.
