Kurdish citizen executed in Karaj, Iran

Hangaw- A Kurdish citizen from Iran’s city of Qazvin and charged with murder was executed on Monday, a source inside prison reported to Hangaw on Wednesday.
Mojtaba Ghiaswand, a Kurdish citizen in the city of Qazvin, reportedly executed inside the Rajai Shahr Prison, where prisoners held northern outskirt of Karaj. The prison is also known as one of the regime’s harshest jails due to the numerous reports of rape, torture and murder.
Ghiaswand was charged with murder of his cousin and sentenced to death by Iranian Judiciary. Attempts to seek consent from the victim’s father remain useless.
Hangaw has registered at least 56 cases of executions of Kurdish citizens carried out by Islamic Republic of Iran, during the first six months of 2017.
