Six Kurdish citizens accused of political activity, detained in Iran

Hengaw – At least six Kurdish citizens in the the mixed-populated city of Chalderan of Orumiyeh province were arrested by security forces on November 9th, Hengaw reporter said.   The detainees were accused by the intelligence forces of cooperation with the Kurdish political parties based in Iraqi Kurdistan.   A source talked to Hengaw on condition of anonymity said the security forces have beaten the detainees during the arrestment.   Tensions raised among the Kurdish citizens and Iranian intelligence forces based in the region.
