A Kurdish Citizen Killed by Iranian Armed Forces

Hengaw: A citizen from Kurdistan of Turkey was shot dead by Iranian armed forces in the border areas of Iran and Turkey. 

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Iranian armed forces shot a Kurdish citizen from Kurdistan of Turkey near Makou border region, West Azarbaijan and killed him.

An informed source said that this Kurdish citizen named Shafiq Baga was returning from Makou to Kurdistan of Turkey when he was shot at by Iranian border gaurds and got severely injured.

This source continued that Shafiq Baga died after being transferred to a hospital due to severe injuries.
