Hengaw: 3  Kurdish citizens  from Kermanshah who had previously been sentenced to prison by the Iranian Judiciary have been detained and transferred to Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah to serve their sentences. 

 

 According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Saturday, January 30, 2021, 3 Kurdish activists from Kermanshah, identified as Seyed Ardeshir Mousavi, Mostafa Bagheri Ashna, and Khalil Asadi Bojani, were detained and transferred Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah to serve their sentences.  

 Seyyed Ardeshir Mousavi and Mostafa Bagheri-Ashna were detained by the Iranian Islamic  Revolutionary Guards in Kermanshah on Thursday, July 5, 2018, and on Saturday, May 23 , 2020, in a joint case with "Shahriar Tahmasebi" and "Arsalan Hedayati", were each sentenced to 9 months in prison by second branch of Iranian Islamic  Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah , headed  Judge Shahrokh Moradi on charges of "propaganda against the regime and forming a group to disrupt public order," which was reduced to 4 months in the Court of Appeals.
 

 Khalil Bojani Asadi, who was detained during the protests November 2019 protests , was sentenced by the Third Branch of Iranian Islamic  Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Asadi, to 6 years and 6 months in prison on charges is  membership in Kurdish politcial parties and collusion .  According the law of aggregation of sentences he was to serve 3 years and 6 months imprisonment. The sentence was later reduced to 3 months in prison by the provincial court of appeals.
