Kurdish-Yarsani activist Khairullah Haqjouyan, arrested by Iranian Security Forces

Hengaw : One of the Yarsani activists from Sahneh district of Kermanshah province has been arrested by the Iranian Security Forces and transferred to the central prison of this city.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Monday, June 28, 2021, Khairullah Haqjouyan, a Yarsani activist from Sahneh, was arrested by the order of the Iranian persecutor in the city and transferred to Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah.

Khairullah Haqjouyan was a member of the Yarsan Civil Activists Advisory Council, and the Sahne court requested bail of 500 million Tomans for releasing him.

He has been arrested for not accepting the charges against him.

According to an informed source, Mr. Khairullah Haqjouyan was summoned and arrested for attending the eighth death anniversary of three Kurdish activists from the Yarsani community who set themselves on fire after the Iranian government officials insulted their community.
