Hengaw: During last month, at least arrest of 37 Kurdish citizens by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran is recorded on charges of political and civil activities. This statistics has increased by 19% (6 cases) compared to February.
According to registered statistics in the Documentation Centre of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, during March 2022, at least 37 Kurdish citizens were arrested by the Iranian government's security agencies on charges of political and civic activities.
According to the report, 4 citizens on charges of political activities and cooperation with Kurdish parties, 31 citizens on charges of participating in Nowruz ceremony, 1 citizen on charges of civic activities, and a tradesman have been arrested too.
Last month, at least six women activists, four teenagers below 18 were arrested by security forces of Islamic Republic of Iran in Kurdistan, and one of the detainees is moved to prison to serve their sentence.
Most arrests have recorded with 31 cases by the Intelligence service. Also, most of the detainees have been arrested on the streets with 28 cases by security forces.
