Five detainees of Nowruz in Sanandaj released after being tortured and headshaved

Hengaw: Five of the Sanandaj Nowruz detainees who were tortured and disrespected in the Sanandaj IRGC intelligence detention center were released on bail.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, five of the Sanandaj Nowruz detainees were identified as Parsa Bahrami, 17, Arman Salimi, Omid Sheikhi, Omid Asadi, and Saman Miraki, were temporarily released each with 600 Million Tomans bail until the end of proceedings.
The news of arresting Parsa Bahrami, 17, and Omid Asadi has not been reported on the media till now, and Hengaw is the first source to report it to the media.
Informed sources told Hengaw that the five citizens were severely tortured, disrespected, and headshaved by IRGC intelligence agents during their detention.
The five citizens were summoned and detained by the IRGC on Wednesday, March 23rd, after the Nowruz ceremony in Sanandaj Kudak Park.
Hengaw was informed that the five citizens had been deprived of having access to a lawyer during their detention, and security forces had accused them of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party.
According to the statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, more than 50 Kurdish citizens have been detained by the security services of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the Nowruz ceremonies this year, 33 of whom have been identified till now.
