Five Iranian Kurds were Executed in Iran, One was Woman

Hengaw: Five Iranian Kurds were executed on Tuesday, among them there was a woman, based on the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

Untill the release of this news only three names have been told to Hengaw. The names of these three victims are:

1. Zeinab Sakanavand
2. Salman Khan Aliluo
3. Hasan Hajilou

“The Iranian authorities must urgently halt their plans to execute Zeinab Sakanavand,” Philip Luther, Amnesty International’s Research and Advocacy Director for the Middle East and North Africa, pleaded on Monday after the announcement of the regime’s plan was made.

Lutger highlighted “she was arrested when she was just 17 years old and was in prison for 7 years and sentenced to death for the murder of her husband, whom she married at the age of 15. Not only was she a child at the time of the crime, she was subjected to a grossly unfair legal process.”
