Kurdish citizen, Ismail Dezwar, one of the detained protestors from Saqez, died under torture

 A Kurdish protestor from Saqqez, Kurdistan Province named Ismail Dezwar, was arrested yesterdey by the Iranian security institutions. He was severely tortured and then lost his life. 

 According to the report received by the Hengaw human rights organization, at 23:00 on October 9, 2022, the IRGC intelligence forces who were all wearing uniforms, took Ismail Dezwar's body to Shafa Hospital in Saqqez by ambulance.
 

 According to one of the hospital staff, Ismail Dezwar died as a result of severe torture and bruises on his body, especially bruises and fractures on his chest that were visible.
 

 This source, who did not want to be named for security reasons, further told Hengaw: "In the radiology room, after a short meeting, the IRGC intelligence forces told the hospital authorities to indicate the cause of his death as a car accident, which was strongly opposed by the hospital supervisor".
 

 He further said that the supervisor told them: "This person was taken to the hospital without vital signs and his death cannot be a car accident under any circumstances and I can say with certainty that he was killed under torture."
 

 Hengaw has been informed that after this position of the medical staff, the IRGC intelligence forces kidnapped the body from the hospital at 3 am without permission and buried his body at night with the cooperation of the fire fighting brigade.
 

 According to an informed source, the Iranian security agencies summoned Ismail Dezwar's family today, Monday, October 10, and threatened them that they should announce the cause of his death as a traffic accident, and in his obituary notice, under the pressure of the security agencies, the cause of his death was stated to be a traffic accident.  In this regard, Hengaw has been informed that his wife's brother named Zaniar Hosainzadeh has also been arrested.
 

According to Hangaw, Ismail Dezwar was arrested near the traffic police station in Saqqez on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
