The fate of Aram Saeedi and Ahmad Khane, two citizens from Mahabad, is still unclear after nearly two weeks have passed since they were kidnapped by Iranian government forces.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the government forces abducted Aram Saeedi and Ahmad Khane, two citizens from the village of Gogtapeh in Mahabad.

Aram Saidi was abducted in front of a pharmacy, and Ahmad Khaneh was abducted in the open space of a medical center. These two citizens have been transferred to unknown places after being abducted, and their fate is still unknown.

According to Hengaw's information, none of the minimum rights of the accused, such as access to a lawyer, prohibition of torture, medical services, etc., are respected during the investigation of the protesters' cases in the cities of Kurdistan.
