Mullah Mohammad Khizirnejad, a Kurdish Muslim Imam from Bukan city, is still imprisoned in Bukan Central Prison after three weeks of his arrest.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, a Mullah from Bukan named Mohammad Khizirnejad was kidnapped by government forces on Saturday, November 19, 2022, and is currently being held in the central prison of Bukan.
According to informed sources, the government forces arrested Yasir Khizirnejad, his son, at the same time as Mohammad Khizirnejad, who was released after a week.
This source further stated that Mullah Mohammad Khizirnejad was severely tortured by Iranian government forces during his detention.
