Three weeks after the arrest of Mohammad Zarza and Masoud Ghorbani, two Kurdish students of the Tehran University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health, there is no detailed information about their condition.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, November 19, 2022, Mohammad Zarza, a student of physiotherapy at the Tehran University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health, and Masoud Ghorbani, a student of art and prosthetics at this university, were arrested by Iranian government forces.
The arrest of these students took place after they were summoned by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and during their visit to this ministry.
According to an informed source, after being arrested, these two students were transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, known as the detention center of the Ministry of Intelligence.
Three weeks after the arrest of each of Mohammad Zarza and Masoud Ghorbani, these two have been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and also to meet with their families, and the follow-ups of their families in this regard have been fruitless.
It should be mentioned that these two students had only one short phone call with their families during their detention.
