After 40 days since they were abducted by Iranian government authorities, Amir Ali Zakeri Fard and Imad Zakeri Fard's whereabouts are still unknown.

Amir Ali Zakeri Fard, 41, and Imad Zakeri Fard, 32, were abducted by Iranian government forces in Ilam on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

These two brothers' whereabouts in detention and health conditions remain unknown after 40 days of their arrest, and the follow-ups by their families have been futile.

In the past 80 days, at least 8 Kurdish citizens have died under torture after being abducted by Iranian government forces, which has caused a wave of concern among the families of those arrested and abducted by those forces in Kurdistan.
