Almost a month after his arrest in Tehran, the fate of Faraz Partavi, from Ravansar, Kermanshah Province, is still unknown. He is the senior manager of network security and data analysis at Irancell Telecommunications Company.
Faraz Partavi, a resident of Tehran and a native of Ravansar, was detained by Iranian government forces in the middle of November 2022 and later moved to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, according to the report that the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights received.
This man was detained for refusing to cooperate with Iranian security institutions, and false security allegations have been brought against him. It should be noted that while he was being held, Iranian government agents tortured him.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization, Faraz Partavi is currently being held in the Evin prison in alarming physical and mental conditions, and his family has not yet been able to visit him.
