A month after being abducted by Iranian government forces, the whereabouts of two youngsters named Matin Mohammadi from Ravansar and Puya Gol Mohammadi from Javanrud remain unclear.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on November 16, 2022, 17-year-old Matin Mohammadi was abducted by Iranian government forces in Ravansar. A day earlier, on November 15, Puya Gol Mohammadi, 17 years old and a resident of Javanrud, was abducted by government forces in a similar incident.
According to informed sources, these two children were transferred to the Kermanshah Correctional Center after being abducted.
According to this source, Iranian authorities have denied Matin Mohammadi and Puya Gol Mohammadi the right to access a lawyer, meet, and communicate with their family.
