In order to coerce Zaniar Yahyazadeh, a citizen from the village of "Zhivar" in Sarvabad, into confessing, Iranian government authorities have been severely torturing him for the past two weeks.

According to the report received by the Hengaw organization for human rights, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, Zaniar Yahyazadeh was kidnapped by the Iranian government's forces in Marivan city and transferred to the Iranian government’s detention center.

According to informed sources, this citizen was subjected to severe torture and was under pressure to confess to the accusations leveled by Iranian government institutions.

Recently, many reports of similar cases have been received by Hengaw, which all indicate the application of the process of framing up new cases and forcing confessions against Kurdish citizens arrested or kidnapped by the Iranian government forces.
