A journalist from Qorveh named Ziba Omidifar was taken to the hospital after losing consciousness as a result of being physically and psychologically tortured by Iranian authorities at the detention center.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ziba Omidifar, a detained journalist from Qorveh city, suffered severe mental and physical torture in the IRGC intelligence detention center in Sanandaj, and after she lost consciousness, she was taken to the hospital.
According to informed sources, this citizen is currently under special care in the psychosomatic department of Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj.
This informed source added: "Ziba Omidifar has been undergoing long-term treatment due to pressure drop and decreased level of consciousness."
On Thursday, December 8, 2022, Ziba Omidifar, one of the journalists of local media in Kurdistan, was transferred to the Sanandaj's IRGC Intelligence detention center after being arrested.
