Zahra Nabizadeh, a pregnant Mahabad resident, was kidnapped and transferred to an unknown location by Iranian government forces.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Zahra Nabizadeh was abducted by Iranian government forces on the evening of Sunday, December 25, 2022, and brought to an unknown location.
According to a reliable source, this individual was abducted by government forces in Mahabad's Bari Madrasah neighborhood. In this neighborhood last night, a group of women started protests and chanted "woman, life, freedom" on the street.
Concerns regarding Zahra Nabizadeh's health in government detention facilities have grown as a result of both her physical condition and her pregnancy.
