While recently 22 residents of Dehloran received harsh penalties, a lawyer named Reza Absalan who lives in this city, together with Sajad Fathallahzadeh and Maisam Dargah, were also given prison terms by the legal system.
The Hengaw Organization for Human Rights was informed that the Revolutionary Court in Dehloran City had sentenced lawyer Reza Absalan to one year in prison and a fine of 50 million tomans.
Additionally, this court gave Sajad Fathallahzadah and Maysam Dargah a two-year prison term for their involvement in the Dehloran uprising.
During the Dehloran popular resistance in October of this year, these three civilians were detained by Iranian government forces and freed on bail after a short period of time.
In the meantime, on October 19 of this year, the same court imposed prison terms on 22 Dehloran residents.
